About the Journal
The Journal of Agricultural Research and Entrepreneurship (JARE) is a pioneering, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the College of Agricultural Sciences at the Federal University of Agriculture Zuru (FUAZ), Nigeria. Launched in 2024, JARE was founded on the principle that scientific discovery and entrepreneurial action are the twin engines of agricultural transformation in Africa and beyond. Our mission is to create a dynamic bridge between the laboratory and the marketplace, disseminating research that not only advances scientific knowledge but also fuels innovation, viable agribusiness, and sustainable economic development.
Focus and Scope
JARE provides an international forum for the publication of high-quality research across the entire spectrum of agricultural sciences, with an explicit emphasis on practical application and commercial potential. We welcome submissions in, but not limited to, the following areas:

JARE is a strong advocate for the global, barrier-free exchange of knowledge. As a Gold Open Access journal, all articles are immediately and permanently available for everyone to read, download, copy, and distribute, free of charge. This is to ensure the widest possible dissemination and impact for the research we publish.
